A Very Interesting Panel about Big Questions

Is it ever acceptable to restrict migration? What are the moral implications of creating the extensive system of border control that we have today? What are the legal arguments for and against free migration? These exciting questions will motivate our pane, “Open Borders - The Bigger Picture.”

We invited a thrilling group of writers, activists, and scholars to discuss the important questions:

• Azadeh N. Shahshahani is the Legal and Advocacy Director at Project South.

• Abraham Paulos is the Deputy Director of the Black Alliance for Just Immigration based in Brooklyn, New York.

• Bas van der Dossen is a professor of philosophy at Chapman University and co-author of In Defense of Openness.

• Hrishkesh Joshi is a professor of philosophy at Bowling Green State University.
